Century Casino - The Riverview Hotel

This new six-story, 68,000-square-foot hotel sited on the banks of the Mississippi River in downtown Cape Girardeau features 69 well-appointed rooms and suites and is adjacent to and connected with the 41,000-square-foot Century Casino. 

The $30.5 million project features rooms and suites with sweeping river views. The hotel includes two restaurants—the upscale Beacon 53 and the more casual Red Star Grill. The hotel added 20 areas jobs and the expanded dining hours opened up an additional 20 positions.

“It’s amazing how fast everything seems to be moving,” said Hotel Manager Loren Ramirez. “Every day that we come in here, a little bit more is done and the hotel transforms and we’re getting really close to welcoming our first guests—which is super exciting.”

The grand opening was held on April 4, 2024.
