The new police station was designed and built by the Penzel Construction/TreanorHL design-build team. The 18,000-square-foot facility features modern systems engineered to maximize department operations, including security systems designed to control access to sensitive functions within the building and surrounding area. 

The $6.5 million building features a community/training room that doubles as a storm shelter. There is also dedicated space within the facility for administration, booking, detention, investigations, patrol, property/evidence and staff support.
