The success of your project is only as good as your contractor.
Since 1910, Penzel Construction has provided general contracting services—from competitive bidding to subcontractor pre-qualification and close-out services. As a general contractor, we work with the owner and his or her architect under the traditional design-bid-build method to review plans and construction documents, develop a schedule, select subcontractors and construct the project as designed. Although we are happy to work with the owner and their set of plans, it is highly preferred that we are brought in much earlier in the process.
The pre-construction stage of the project is where the most cost-savings can occur. When the general contractor is involved from the beginning, we gain a better understanding of your goals, can work hand-in-hand with your designer and can offer value engineering to better align your needs and your budget. After more than a century of construction experience, we have gained the experience necessary to effectively solve problems that arise during the construction process. Our superintendents, project managers, estimators and executives in charge are seasoned professionals that understand the importance of keeping an open flow of communication to ensure project objectives, timelines and adherence to budget.
