Kidd’s Gas & Convenience Store

Kidd’s Gas and Convenience Store on the corner of Broadway and North West End Boulevard underwent a major overhaul, including a new 3,000-square-foot convenience store with a walk-in beer cave. The project also called for adding four new pump stations, additional parking, and an upgraded drive-thru. In addition, the drive-through window was relocated to the east side of the building, creating a better traffic flow. The renovations also reoriented the fuel pumps so fueling cars would face perpendicular to Broadway. Solar panels were installed on top of the fuel pump canopy. The project required close coordination with the owner, subcontractors, and suppliers because of the specialized fuel tank and pump equipment and the store’s coolers and freezers.
