In its previous location at Lynwood and Randol, Lynwood Baptist Church held three morning services on Sunday and used classroom space at Alma Schrader School to accommodate everyone in their Sunday school. The school’s parking lot also served as a shuttle site, since the church’s lot was too small to accommodate all of the members’ and visitors’ cars. Clearly, it was necessary to construct a new facility to meet the needs of the church’s growing congregation. Penzel Construction was the prime contractor for this new structure that houses modern educational facilities, a new worship sanctuary and plenty of space for parking.
