The Cape Splash Family Aquatic Center incorporates a child-friendly play pool packed with entertaining water features including large, dual pipe waterslides that drop into a plunge pool spilling over a six-foot waterfall and into a 700-foot-long continuous lazy river, a combination swimming area composed of double pipeline slides, a lap pool with water levels ranging from three-and-a-half to nine feet, a leisure pool with an interactive water play structure, and a center swirl pool—all surrounded by patio areas providing multiple 21-foot umbrellas and a large gazebo. Supplementary structures include the bathhouse and concession stand as well as a first aid and filter building. Architecturally and artistically inspired to utilize the natural profile of the landscape, this project provides exciting family entertainment for children of all ages.
