For Missouri Delta Medical Center, we constructed 17 new, private patient rooms to replace the existing open area of patient beds. In addition, we built a new emergency expedited care center for greater efficiency in treating arriving patients that are not in a life-threatening situation. The larger, more comfortable waiting area including a “family waiting area” for families with children who wish to shelter their children from what can be traumatic situations in an emergency room.
