Crader Distributing Co., headquartered in Marble Hill, Missouri, is the exclusive distributor of STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Southern Illinois. Founded in 1944, Crader Distributing is a family-owned business with a long history of providing superior customer service. 

Crader’s family roots span four generations: from Buford Crader, who began the company with two partners in 1944, through Buford’s son, Don; his grandchildren, Stan, Val, and Becky; and even three of Buford’s great-grandchildren, who have joined the company—learning the business from the ground up and making their contribution to the company’s future. It is impossible for a company to have family roots as deep as Crader’s without the concept of family greatly influencing the corporate culture. Penzel Construction fully understands this—we are a fourth generation company that has been building Southeast Missouri for more than a century!

Not surprisingly, Crader has received numerous accolades from STIHL though the years, including their prestigious Distributor of the Year award in recognition of its outstanding sales, technical service and customer service. We feel privileged to work with Crader on this project. So, when Crader Distributing asked us to design and build an addition to their warehouse, and construct a new training center and museum at their location on MO-34, we were excited to put our years of design-build experience to work. Construction of the 43,000-square-foot pre-engineered structure was completed in September 2016.
